Exciting half-term activities for kids aged 5 – 12 with The Outdoors Project

This February half-term The Outdoors Project will be running some exciting high-energy holiday club activities for kids aged 5 – 12 in Bristol.

Each day’s activities will be unique from the next. There will be a nerf gun battles and a zombie apocalypse, rock climbing, bush craft survival skills and more!

Each day’s adventure will start at 10am and last until 2.30pm and you can book your kids on as many of the adventure days as you wish.

All sessions are run by fully qualified outdoor pursuits instructors who are also DBS checked and First Aid qualified.

Monday 8th Feb  (Meet at BLOC Climbing, right next to the M32, unit 3, at the end of New Gratton Rd, BS2 9SH )

Rock Climbing – New Clip and Climb

2 hours of Indoor rock climbing: Climb commando style on the Jungle Gym, reach new heights on the Skyscraper, take the speed challenge, race friends up Face to Face or take the Leap of Faith. Followed by Miniature Raft races, Air Toys and Adventure Games at Mina Rd Park, St Werburghs.

Tuesday 9th Feb – (St Andrew’s Park, Effingham Rd entrance)

Forest School Winter Wonderland

Winter woodland adventure games, tracking, bug hunts, den building & animal homes discovery and as always, lots of messy, muddy fun! Come and get involved and dress for mess!

Wednesday 10th Feb (Matter Whole Foods, 1 Greenbank Rd, BS5 6EZ)

A Day At The Circus

Happy hula hooping, Diablo, Poi, Unicycles, Pedal races, stilt walking, juggling and general Circus madness at this Indoor Circus Studio! Interspersed with outdoor adventure games, knot tying and Bivouac building workshops.

Thursday 11th Feb (St Andrew’s Park, Effingham Rd entrance)

Bush Craft Survival Day

Try out the ancient method of creating fire using bow drills, flint and steels and a mushroom! Whittling, marshmallows, hot chocolate, shelter building and Tribal Castaway survival games.

Base Invasion Nerf Mega Mayhem Day

Elite Nerf Sessions – zombie apocalypse & base invasion and capture the flag – targets range, hunger games and woodland adventure games session.
