Saplings: Parent & Toddler Nature Groups In Bedminster and St Andrew’s

If you like the sound of an outdoor parent and toddler group with great activities all inspired by nature then read on!

The Outdoors Project run two parent and toddler nature groups in Bedminster and St Andrew’s called ‘Saplings’ every week in term-time in Victoria Park, Bedminster and St Andrew’s Park, St Andrew’s.

The groups are inspired by the forest school ethos and principles with activities based around nature with a different theme each week, all with the aim of helping young children learn about the Great Outdoors.

Saplings is for children aged 18 months – 4 years but Saplings under 18 months go free. There are bug hunts, outdoor art, stories, games, and many more fun outdoor activities!

Saplings is run by qualified forest school leaders who are also first aid trained and DBS checked. Sessions are held whatever the weather!

There are two Saplings sessions at St Andrew’s Park on Thursdays in term-time at either 10 – 11.15am and 1.30 – 2.45pm.

The Victoria Park Saplings group runs on Fridays in term-time at 10 – 11.15am.

Saplings is run by The Outdoors Project which also offers high-energy holiday club activities to older children aged 5 – 12 in half-term and holidays, plus birthday parties, too.
