The evening of Saturday 10th December may be dark and the weather may be frosty but at Grimsbury Farm there will be Carols around the Stable and lots more Christmassy fun on offer.

A free event for children and families, the Carols around the Stable event features children from Mangotsfield C of E Primary School who will be leading Christmas carols and acting out the nativity which features a real live donkey!

The event begins at 4.15pm with food and fun for all and the nativity, carols and procession begin at 5.15pm.

There will be falling snow (with the help of a snow machine!) and special illuminations helping to set the Christmassy atmosphere just right.

The Collywobles Fun Bus will also be there with two floors of fun for children (small charge for this).

Grimsbury Farm is free to visit all year round, and, like all of the events that it holds throughout the year the Carols around the Stable event is free.

There will be hot food and drinks to keep everyone warm on the cold Winter’s evening – money raised from this, plus any raffle tickets sold, will go directly towards the upkeep of the farm.

The aim of the event is simply to give children and families wonderful memories and a community farm to enjoy today and for generations to come.

You can find Grimsbury Farm on Grimsbury Road, Kingswood, BS15 9SE.

All are welcome to the event. Warm clothing, Wellies and a torch are recommended!
