If you are looking for something free, fantastic and fun to do with the kids on the weekend of Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th February, then look no further than Bristol Museum!
It’s the Chinese New Year and to mark the event the museum will be hosting some amazing Chinese New Year Celebrations with free fun for all of the family.
There will be traditional lion dancing performances, Chinese dancing, dressing-up, music, martial arts demos, Chinese kites, Chinese arts and crafts such as paper folding and mask making, plus you can try your hand at Chinese chess and calligraphy.
And, as it’s the Chinese year of the rooster, you can pick up a trail map to discover roosters hidden throughout the museum!
The event is free (donations welcome) and no booking is required – simply drop in at any time between 11am – 4pm.
You can find Bristol Museum on Queens Road, Bristol BS8 1RL.
