Gloucester Road – Love Local Free Kids’ Craft Event: KudaCan Play Café
This Valentine’s Day come along to KudaCan to show your love for Bristol and celebrate its local money. As a continuation of the Bristol Pound team’s focus on Gloucester Road throughout February and March, there will be a kids’ craft event in the Café at KudaCan. Colouring materials will be supplied for children to make some bunting to display at the Bristol Pound party in the Gallimaufry in March.
The Bristol Pound team will be there to greet you and will be providing information on how to use Bristol money. You will also be able to open a Bristol Pound account there on the spot (you just need to 2 bits of info – photo ID and proof of address). If you have not used the money before, KudaCan is an exchange point so you can get some of the beautiful notes and spend them right there in the café.

LEGOMANIA! Brislington United Reformed Church
LEGOMANIA! is coming back to Brislington!
Once again we will bring our HUGE collection of LEGO and loads of LEGO related fun with Gincandescence and Karen Blake Arts. There will be plenty of LEGO for everyone to build whatever they choose.
We’ll also have lots of LEGO-related craft ideas, so that children can make something to take home.
We will be running two sessions, at 10.30am-1.00pm, and at 1.30-4pm. Refreshments will be available.
Children aged 4-11 are invited to come and join in. Younger children are also welcome to come along as observers, but we know that there are some 3 year olds who also love Lego and if you do have a younger child who would like to take an active part you are welcome to buy them a ticket too, but we would ask you to supervise them very closely during the event.
Children will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. The LEGO is for use during the event and only the craft creations can be taken home.
