A family performance on Monday 10th April at Redland Park United Reformed Church with the brilliant performer and entertainer, Nick Cope.
Suitable for ages 0 – 8 and much, much older, Nick’s family performances are legendary! He has a fanatical army of little and not-so-little fans from all over the world.

Stream Walk – Scrambling, MEGA Rope Swing, Bridge Building, River paddling, Exploring.
This is a big day, for the most intrepid. Bring a change of clothes and boots/shoes that can get wet and a rucksack for carrying everything – you will need your hands free to pull on ropes, climb over rocks and navigate down miniature waterfalls.

Dragon Hunting Adventures: Ashton Hill Woodland
A day of dragon hunting at the Robinson’s Discovery Tree Forest School secret base camp deep in Ashton Hill Woodland, a small remote village besieged by dragons.
Children aged 0 – 12 years will be transported back to 1000 AD, the Viking era and go on a mission to protect the woodland, its animal inhabitants and themselves from dragon attack!
On arrival children will be enrolled into the dragon fighting class. Activities include learning tracking skills to look for clues and signs of dragons, making swords for training, building camouflage dens and setting some dragon traps, fire lighting and cooking a delicious dragon-related treat!
There will also be a snack, drink and some fiery dragon inspired stories around the campfire.

‘Play in a Day’ Pirate-themed Drama Workshop: St Werburgh’s Community centre
A one-day Easter holiday drama workshop for children aged 6 – 10 years. The one-day workshop is being held by The Dramatory, a Bristol-based workshop company that designs and delivers fun and affordable drama workshops for children.
The workshop will give kids the chance to play, be creative, use their imaginations as well as develop confidence and social skills.
The day will begin with some fun drama games and skill builders. Then the children will break off into pairs and groups to create short scenes inspired by famous Pirate stories and characters and also to have fun making costumes, accessories and props!
At 3.30pm parents and carers will be invited in to see what their children have been working on throughout the day and to watch them perform a short drama performance which shares and celebrate each child’s ideas!

Children’s Theatre Workshop: Bristol Grammar School
A half-day theatre workshop for children aged 8 – 12 years which is being organised by Bristol Academy of Drama.
Children will enjoy drama games, learn about mask work in theatre and devise a 5 minute group performance at the end of the session which parents are very welcome to come and see.

Turtle Tots Underwater Photo Shoot
All babies and toddlers welcome to this underwater photography shoot with Turtle Tots – your child does not need to already have Turtle Tots swimming classes.
The sessions run as a normal class so you will get a fun 30 minutes of swimming with your child, as well as several opportunities to get that perfect shot.
The photo shoot will run in 30 minute sessions throughout the morning so you can book in at a time that suits you and your little one best.

Easter Egg Hunt & Forest School Session: Oldbury Court
Join Hedgehog and his dedicated group of mini forest explorers for a forest school session and healthy Easter Egg Hunt with Robinson’s Discovery Tree Forest School.
The session will start by children hunting out Hedgehogs friends who are scattered amongst the forest followed by some egg hunting (with a twist – this will be a healthy egg hunt, so no chocolate rewards).
Then there will be a nature based craft activity, free play to allow time to enjoy the swing, digging, bug hunting and more, rounded off with a toasted hot cross bun over the campfire, a snack, drink and song time!

A HUGE collection of LEGO and loads of LEGO related fun with Gincandescence and Karen Blake Arts. There will be plenty of LEGO for everyone to build whatever they choose, plus lots of LEGO-related craft ideas, so that children can make something to take home.
Drop Dead Delicious will be running the kitchen with lots of refreshments and some amazing home-made cakes.
There will be two LEGOMANIA! sessions at 10.30am – 1pm and at 2 – 4.30pm. Tickets cost £6 – £14.
All children aged 4-11 are invited to come and join in. Younger children are also welcome to come along as observers, but as there are some 3 year olds who also love Lego and if you do have a younger child who would like to take an active part you are welcome to buy them a ticket too, you are asked to supervise them very closely during the event.
Children will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. The LEGO is for use during the event and only the craft creations can be taken home.

‘Sew Good’ Family Fun Day: Bristol Museum
One of two free family fun days at the museum this Easter offering great creative and hands-on activities for all of the family.
