There is currently an exciting job vacancy for Head of Admissions at Colston’s School, a thriving co-educational day school on the outskirts of Bristol.

The Upper School occupies a wonderful thirty-acre campus and has all of its facilities on-site. Easily accessible from the motorway network, there are approximately 730 students aged from 3 to 18.

The Headmaster of Colston’s wishes to appoint an exceptional candidate to oversee and progress the school’s admissions function working to an established strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless admissions process for our families and play a pivotal role in delivering a first- class customer experience for all visitors.

Reporting to the Director of External Communications, the successful candidate will have experience in recruitment consultancy, customer account management, sales, events, PR or ideally admissions in the independent schools sector.

Colston’s School is seeking someone who possesses the self- determination, initiative and commitment to champion candidates through the recruitment cycle and ultimately achieving the conversion of families from prospective candidates to actually joining the school.

Naturally, you will have exceptional customer service abilities in terms of meeting parents as well as on the telephone and in written communications.

Working in a small team you will be a team player and will be fully involved and responsible for the administration of the entire admissions process until pupils commence their education with the school.

The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering a seamless service in a high-volume environment and possess a good sense of humour.
