On Sunday 29th October there will be some fun Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations at Bristol Museum for children and families to enjoy.
Day of the Dead is the Mexican festival where families gather to remember the dead, so families are invited to add their memories and photos of loved ones to the museum’s colourful ofrenda shrine, plus enjoy music, dance, face painting and more!
There will be craft workshops to make your own Day of the Dead mementos, you can take a selfie with La Catarina and remember your own ancestors, and you can also learn about the traditional Día de los Muertos celebrations.
The museum’s Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations will run from 10am – 5pm; drop-in at any time you wish, no booking required.
The event will be on a pay what you think basis and is suitable for all ages.
