This Saturday it will be the 2017 Bristol Zombie Walk, an event not for the faint-hearted!

The annual event will see College Green at noon fill with the living dead preparing to walk (or rather shuffle) around the streets of Bristol.

Bristol Zombie Walk is a brilliantly gruesome spectacle with amazing costumes and make-up, with many families taking part or watching.

Zombies will leave College Green at 1pm for their grim procession around central Bristol ending at 3pm at The Full Moon pub for more fun.

This year’s event will be extra-special as it is the 10th official Bristol Zombie Walk and so there is a surprise lined-up for all the zombies at the end of the walk!

Avon Fire and Rescue will be there with a special Hazardous Materials Decontamination Pod in which they will be processing as many zombies as possible, with all freshly decontaminated zombies being awarded a t-shirt!

They will also be explaining to zombies young and old what they do on a daily basis and what they would do to help the public in the event of a real hazardous substance type of situation.

Bristol Zombie Walk 2017 is free to watch or take part. You can find College Green at the bottom of Park Street, BS1 5SH.
