From mask making to dinosaurs, there’s something for everyone!

Arty animals with artist Christine Allison
Meet professional artist Christine Allison and her intriguing mixed-up animals.

Christine will help you explore the museum wildlife collections looking for inspiration, sketch your ideas and then design a mixed-up creature of your own.

What a Knight!
Take part in a merry medley of Medieval-themed activities.

Egypt Explorers
Sail down the Nile with us and discover ancient Egypt. Children will love this hands-on workshop exploring pyramids, pharaohs and mummification.

Explore Egyptian artefacts, make papyrus paper, practice hieroglyphic writing and decorate a mini sarcophagus, all inspired by our fantastic Egypt gallery.
