This summer, Weston Museum is hosting a new series of weekly online educational activities called “What’s This? Object Inspiration”.
The free activities are suitable for children of all ages, engaging them through learning resources, blogs, fact hunts and videos, all inspired by different objects in the museum’s collections.
Objects include a dinosaur fossil, a stone age flint tool, the famous Alfred Leete’s WW1 poster and more!

- Monday 3rd August – Friday 9th August: Alfred Leete’s WW1 Poster
- Monday 10th August – Friday 16th August: Medieval Floor Tile
- Monday 17th August – Friday 23rd August: Roman Patera
- Monday 24th August – Friday 30th August: Stone Age Flint Tool
- Monday 31st August – Friday 6th September: Ichthyosaur Fossil
