Jane & the Giant Peach: Saturday 20th January

A new and heartwarming version of the beloved Roald Dahl story adapted by Bristol Academy of Drama‘s Writer in Residence, Beatrice Vincent.

Through the use of story telling and physical theatre, children aged 7 – 12 years bring this timeless tale to life.

After Jane loses her parents in a freak rhinoceros incident, she is forced to live with her nasty aunts, Spiker and Sponge. Jane’s life is nothing but nagging and chores until one day she meets an Old Lady whose crocodile tongues bring magic to Jane’s life.

The appearance of a Giant Peach the next day is the beginning of Jane’s new life and, with the help of her life-size insect friends, she sets off on an adventure as big as the Peach itself. Will Jane and her new bug family manage to fight off the greedy sharks, the vengeful cloudmen and that pesky rhinoceros?

Come and join in the fun to find out.
