A new free course is starting in Bristol which will give parents and carers information, advice and support in dealing with the teenage years.
Surviving the Teenage Years is a 6-week course starting on Tuesday 2nd October from 9.30-11.30am at The Cameron Centre in Lockleaze. Classes will take place every Tuesday after this date excluding half-term.
Parents can learn strategies for dealing with difficult behaviour, effective ways of communicating, the stages of adolescence, the importance of building relationships and the law regarding sex and drugs and alcohol.
This course is free if you have less than a Level 2 qualification and are aged over 19 years old. If you do not meet this criteria please contact the organisers for a price.
