Step up for your hospitals at the Big Bristol Walk: Sunday 8th June

Are you ready to step up for your loved ones? Join Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity for a very special 5km or 10km walk around Bristol Harbourside and raise funds for the local hospitals at the heart of our community.

This year the Big Bristol Walk takes place on Sunday 8th June and starts from Bristol Amphitheatre and takes in the iconic views of the harbourside, including SS Great Britain, Wapping Wharf and Underfall Yard.

You can walk to celebrate your local NHS, to say thanks for your care, or link arms with your loved ones and walk in memory of someone you’ve lost.

The Big Bristol Walk is open to all ages, including babies, children, and even well-behaved dogs. All you need is your trainers, walking boots, flip-flops, wellies, or even crocs!

Last year’s participants included members of NHS staff, current and former patients at the hospital, families who children were born at St Michael’s Hospital and many more.

One participant said: “I wouldn’t be here now if it wasn’t for the amazing staff at the hospitals in Bristol and Weston. I jumped at the opportunity to take part because I felt I could give something back for a change.”

Whoever you’re walking for, sign up now on the Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity website. Places are limited so best book your spot now!

Registration is just £8 for an adult and £5 for a child, with family bundles available. The suggested fundraising target is £50 for adults and £25 for children. Every registration gets the option of a free charity t-shirt.
