This summer Bristol is coming together to celebrate Play Day 2025 with three FREE family play sessions taking place in Bristol.
A national, annual event co-ordinated by Play England, Playday is a celebration of children’s right to play, and aims to highlight the importance of play in children’s lives.
Free family play sessions will be taking place at the Ardagh on Horfield Common, Eastville Park, and Redcatch Community Garden from 11am – 3pm.
Activities include den building, crafts, large games with BAND, bike fixing with Dr Bike, basketball, origami, sensory play, and much more!

This year’s Playday theme is ‘Spaces for Play’, highlighting the vital importance of accessible, inclusive spaces where children and young people can play freely, spending time and connecting with friends.
Playday 2025 Locations:
– The Ardagh, Horfield Common, BS6 7YL
– Eastville Park, BS5 6QL
