Following last year’s success, starting this weekend, Bristol city centre streets will be closing to motor traffic and opening up to children and grown-ups for more FREE Make Sunday Special events!
Starting on Sunday 4th May, the Make Sunday Special programme will run throughout the summer on the first Sunday of each month, until 7th September.
The first event on Sunday 4th May (11am – 5pm) promises to be spectacular, with Luke Jerram’s water slide ride planned for Park Street (tickets only and subject to safety checks), a host of entertainers in College Green and the old city at Corn Street. You can also enjoy slow food at the Bristol Food Connections event on College Green.
Parents and children will be able to explore the city streets for art, music, street games and entertainment in the Old City and wander through the market stalls on Corn Street.
Why not come bring your kids down and take in a performance, or just relax and soak up the atmosphere in Bristol City Centre this summer?
