Wherever you live in Bristol, a trip to Canford Park with your kids will be one worth making.
One of my children’s favourite parks in Bristol, Canford is a large, Victorian park on Canford Lane, Westbury-on-Trym. It has plenty of well-kept green space, a large play park, tennis courts, ponds and much more.
My kids have always loved the play park at Canford Park. However, since my last post on Bristol Mum about Canford Park, its play park is even better as it has recently been redeveloped. Canford Park now also caters cater for children aged eight and over, as well as young children, with new play apparatus that is more interesting and challenging for this age group.
Despite being just five, my little boy loves the new play equipment!
Climbing to the top of the old helicopter climbing frame has still not lost its appeal for my little boy, however.
A trip to Canford Park would never be complete without a walk around the pond. Since my last trip, the water seemed cleaner and we could even see some fish in it!
Canford Park is a great place for children and grown-ups to explore and enjoy.
