We are lucky to have lots of great parks in Bristol for kids to enjoy. One good play park that I took my kids for the first time recently is Old Quarry Park on Henleaze Road.

Old Quarry Park has recently been updated and includes new play apparatus to cater for children of a wide range of ages.

There is also a zip wire for bigger kids (though this didn’t stop my little girl having a go too).

Old Quarry Park is surrounded by trees which, despite being just on busy road, gives it a peaceful feel. It is also safely enclosed ensuring younger kids can’t escape out on to the main road.

Old Quarry Park is well worth a visit with your kids!
