The Green Treasure Hunt: Bishopston, Cotham & Redland

Go on The Green Treasure Hunt to find various green treasures located around Bishopston, Cotham and Redland. A fun day out for all of the family.

Crane Rides: M Shed

  • 11am – 4pm
  • Electric cranes £2; Fairbairn steam crane free (donations welcome)

Experince a working crane on the dockside with trips inside the electric cranes and the Fairbairn steam crane, M Shed’s biggest exhibits! Buy tickets on board on the day.

Sheep in the Cathedral: Bristol Cathedral

Fun, free sheep activities for families and young children to enjoy. Titled Can Ewe Help? the trail consists of 12 lost sheep, hidden around the Cathedral. Children and families are encouraged to find them all to reveal a secret message.

Pond Surveying: Dyrham Park

Join the ranger at Frying Pan Pond to do a survey to find out which creatures are making our wetland areas their home. Grab a net to find out and test your ID skills.

Bugs and Beasties: Old Sneed Park Nature Reserve

Come and discover more about the insect world and their role in pollination and find out about the host of invertibrates which live on the reserve. Children hunting for bugs and beasties must be accompanied. Please wear suitable clothing.
