The Clifton Arcade’s Summer Fayre was definitely the highlight of the Summer in Clifton Village.
The event – held within the beautiful Victorian shopping arcade which houses nineteen independent shops – was a huge success and many families turned up to enjoy in the fun.
There were independent stalls selling handmade items through to local jams and preserves. There was also yummy food sampling from My Little France and Mexican Wrestler.
Children were not left out either. There was face painting by a professional face painter who painted some great faces as well as tattoo style painting, plus there was a tombola and a Lucky Dip, too!
And, to keep kids refreshed, the lovely Polar Pops ladies were there, selling their lollies.
The music was wonderful and added to the atmosphere. It commenced with a cello and violin duo and was followed by Purple Paul playing Hang Pan, then the Silver Foxes and lastly the lovely Kookyukes.
If you fancy popping into the Clifton Arcade with your kids, you can find it on Boyces Avenue, Clifton Village BS8 4AA. It offers something for everyone, and you and your children will have fun exploring.
There are beautiful crafts, unique gifts, antiques, jewellery, vintage and hand-crafted clothes, plus amazing architecture and a dangling gorilla!
Please visit the Clifton Arcade website for more information and opening times. Enjoy!
