Make Sunday Special is back this weekend! A free event for children and families, Make Sunday Special events bring everyone together and showcase the best Bristol has to offer.

This will be the first Make Sunday Special of 2016 and will take place from 11am – 4.30pm in the centre of Bristol, including Corn Street, Clare Street, St Stephen’s Street and Glass Arcade. These streets will be closed to traffic so your kids can cycle, scoot or skateboard in safety.

Be prepared for a day to remember as Make Sunday Special has teamed up with two other events taking place in the city on the same day!

Start your day at the Harbourside and explore the Festival of Nature, then take a short stroll through Queen Square, where Celebrating Sanctuary will be showcasing refugee music, arts and information. Then head on to Bristol’s old city for some entertainment, Bristol fashion.

Join in the fun with your family, friends and local community and celebrate Bristol’s beauty, diversity and good vibes. Expect unique and independent activities and entertainment.

There will be plenty for the kids to do in the children’s area run by the Baby Bank Network, providing a great opportunity to support this fantastic charity.

Take a wander along the streets of the old city and peruse the food and art market stalls showcasing the very best local produce, or stop for a boogie while listening to one of the live bands and dJs.

Have a very special Sunday!
