This Sunday 25th September The Trinity Community Garden will be holding a Harvest Festival and there will be lots of autumnal, outdoorsy for families to enjoy.

The event is free and will include activities such as spoon carving, wild food foraging, making preserves, apple pressing and wood chopping, plus there will be live music to listen to and plants to buy.

There will also be fun especially for children including toasting marshmallows, dough sticks and popcorn on the fire, fire-lighting, plus a delicious lunch using fresh ingredients from the garden!

The Trinity Community Garden was set up in 2014 in response to the need for an organisation that focused on nature-based education and sustainability.

The garden hosts several weekly activities for the local community to enjoy, including an Under 5s Stay and Play on Wednesdays on Fridays from 10am – 12 noon.

You can find Trinity Community Garden at Trinity Centre, Trinity Road, Lawrence Hill, BS2 0NW.
