This coming weekend many homes and studios in Totterdown will be open to visitors as part of the Totterdown Front Room Arts Trail 2016. This year’s arts trail will be especially exciting as it has a circus theme!
A Rag and Bone Circus featuring performers and clowns will be parading the streets entertaining people with circus stage acts. There will also be fire-eaters lighting the streets when darkness has fallen!
An annual festival which is now in its 16th year, the Totterdown Front Room Arts Trail highlights the creative talents of the many creative folk who live and work in Totterdown.
The Totterdown community’s talents are rich and vast and include sculpture, pottery, drawing, photography, glass-blowing and textile art.
There will also be some fun activities especially for children on the Totterdown Front Room Arts Trail and Laura from the brilliant Colourful Minds will be offering art classes, as well as a shadow puppet show at Hillcrest Primary School.
There will be live music adding to the atmosphere, plus lots of delicious local food from oysters to hotdogs to feed people as they roam the streets!
The Totterdown Front Room Arts Trail takes place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th November and promises to be a wonderful chance to enjoy the creative talents of the Totterdown community!
