On Saturday 10th December, 11am – 4pm, there will be a Magical Winter Fair at Windmill Hill City Farm in Bedminster.

The fair will be free entry and aims to engage children and families in celebrating nature, the seasons and a sense of community, as well as the traditional Christmas holiday.

There will be lots of wonderful Christmassy things for children to do at the fair. This includes a a Crystal Grotto which is literally a dark cave which children enter and bash away at until they unearth a beautiful crystal to take home!

There will also be a Magical Wishing Tree for children to hang their special Christmas wishes they have made and some Twinkly Willow Fairy Wand Making fun.

Delicious local food will be on offer such as Farmer Tim’s BBQ using the farms own lamb and a BEATS street food market including Smoke Catering, Ah-ma’s dumplings, Gopals Curry Shack, The Pickled Brisket and La Bonne Crepe.

The day will include live Festive Music from local choirs and bands, local arts and crafts, plus locally sourced Christmas trees for sale.

There will also be camp fire cooking to enjoy, plus mulled wine, spiced cider, Christmas trees, mince pies and carols!

The fair will mark the end of the farm’s 40th Birthday celebrations which have taken place this year which have seen the farm bursting with people showing their love and support for this important community resource.
