There’s plenty going on at Bristol Zoo Gardens and Wild Place Project this winter, with a host of festive fun leading up to Christmas.

For three wonderfully festive nights, on Friday 16, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December, guests can enjoy two magical, immersive and interactive experiences at Bristol Zoo.

You will journey to the North Pole, where the Zoo’s Seal and Penguin Coasts will be transformed into an arctic adventure hosted by energetic explorer elves, as well as journey through the Night Sky to discover enchanted Christmas characters who will be hidden around the Zoo.

The Snow Queen and her trusty Snow Wolf friend will be delivering storytelling sessions and there will also be the chance to stargaze with the captivating Night Sky Walkers and even dance with a Nutcracker duo who send wishes to space through the power of mirror balls.

You will also be able to see Santa on stage, meet velvety nosed reindeer and listen to the resident storyteller and roaming Christmas choir.

Children can visit Santa at Bristol Zoo from 3-23 December (bookable slots), or drop in to see Santa between 11am – 3pm on weekends from 17 December until 23 December.

As well as meeting Santa and receiving a special present, children can spend time with Santa’s little helpers and his reindeer, colour in a letter to Santa and post it to the North Pole and explore the dazzling animal-shaped lights on the way to the grotto.

At Wild Place Project, little ones can meet Santa inside his yurt and receive a special gift from 19th-23rd December (pre-bookable slots only).
