On Sunday 18th December there will be a Petting/Handling Day organised by Viaduct Animal Sanctuary, a not for profit organisation that rescues and rehabilitates all kinds of animals.

The event takes place from 12 – 3pm and children will get a chance to meet and handle many of the sanctuary’s exotic animals including snakes, lizards, insects, spiders and many more.

There will also be children’s face painting; this will be just £1 per child. There will also be refreshments served all day and stocking filler gifts available to buy.

The event will be £1.50 per person which will go directly towards the upkeep of the sanctuary and care of the animals that live there.

You can find the event at Miners Village Hall, 214 Badminton Road Coalpit Heath BS36 2QB.
