Are you a parent to young children living in South Bristol who likes reading?

If so, you might like to come along to the Parents’ Reading Group, a new monthly book group for parents with babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers at Bedminster Library.

Toys and activities will be provided for the little ones while you discuss the books!

The group starts on Monday 30th January from 1.30 – 2.30pm and will run on the last Monday of every month.

The first session will be an informal welcoming session to give parents the chance to meet each other and discuss what kind of books they like to read.

At the session parents can also to choose a book to take home and read ready for the following month’s Parents’ Reading Group meeting.

The library staff have selected a few initial titles for the group to choose from.

In subsequent meetings parents can come up with their own list of titles which the library staff can then arrange to order for them.

The Parents’ Reading Group is free. You don’t need to book a place, simply turn up.

If you would like to come along to Monday’s meeting you can find Bedminster Library on Bedminster Parade, BS3 4AQ.

For more details about the group please phone Bedminster Library on 0117 9038 529 or email bedminster.library@bristol.gov.uk.
