‘Changing Seasons’, a free family arts event: Thursday 16th February

On Thursday 16th February children can discover the secret signs of Spring at Changing Seasons, a free family arts event at St John on the Wall.

The event is taking place between 11am – 3pm and families can drop-in to celebrate the changing seasons with arts, crafts and activities.

You and your children can:

  • make seed bomb to take home and grow in the garden
  • play games and have a go at dressing up
  • make masks based on the medieval characters around the crypt
  • crafts and activities
  • decorate the ceiling with your own designs

St John on the Wall, cared for by the heritage charity The Churches Conservation Trust, is situated on Broad Street in the centre of Bristol.

No longer used for regular worship the Medieval church is open daily for free tours and has recently introduced interactive visitor displays telling the story of Medieval Bristol.

St John on the Wall hosts regular family events, as well as gigs, exhibitions and performances.
