Free Family Events at South Gloucestershire Libraries celebrating British Science Week 2017

From Friday 10th March until Sunday 19th March it will be British Science Week 2017, a 10-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths.

To mark the occasion there will be several free science-related family events taking place in libraries across South Gloucestershire!

Kicking off British Science Week 2017 with a bang will be STEM’s Amazing Family Fun Fair on Saturday 11th March from 10.30am – 3.30pm at Filton Library.

There will be lots of science, technology, engineering and maths activities for children to get stuck into, plus games and side shows where you will be able to unravel the mysteries of everyday science, plus a LEGO club taking place from 2.30 – 3.30pm.  The event is free entry.

There will then be another STEM Family Fun Fair on Saturday 18th March, this time at Yate Library and again there will be lots of science-related activities for both children and adults to enjoy.
