Freelance Mum at the Farm: Friday 28th April

On Friday 28th April there will be a ‘Freelance Mum at the Farm‘ networking session for parents in business at Windmill Hill City Farm.

The networking session is hosted by Faye Dicker, aka Freelance Mum, who holds regular networking sessions for parents in a family environment – children welcome!

This networking session will be led by the Master Fixer, Linda Davies-Carr, who will inspire you to stop thinking and start doing!

Linda is your go-to woman for business guidance and has a straight-talking business strategy. Committed to excellence and great at bringing people together, Linda has a knack of making things happen. This session is not for the faint-hearted – your business will soon start motoring!

The session begins at 10am with a warm welcome from Faye herself, plus a fun ice breaker. Then, at 10.30 there will be a ‘Netwalk’ around the local area giving you the chance to meet and chat to fellow dads and mums in business.

At 11am there will be well-deserved tea, coffee and treats to enjoy, in time for Linda to speak at 11.15am, sharing her business experience and advice while your children are happily entertained with some great craft activities.

At 11.35am there will be a ‘Five Minutes With…’ session, a chance for one of the freelance mums to share their business with you. Then at 11.40am there will be The Business Exchange, a quick-fire group round where you can tell people all about your business in just 60 seconds!

Following this there will be a chance to do some free networking, giving you the opportunity to catch up with anyone you haven’t yet spoken to.

It is £8.55 per ticket to the networking event (children go free). You can find Windmill Hill City Farm on Philip Street, Bedminster, BS3 4EA.
