A Fairy Door, Bug Hotel, Woodland Creatures & More Exciting Discoveries at Filton Community Garden Summer Fête

On Sunday 16th July there will be a Summer Fête at Filton Community Garden with lots of exciting discoveries for children to make.

Free entry for all, the Summer Fête include some fantastic free activities for children including a bug hunt, traditional Punch and Judy show, games, balloon animals, plus trolley rides around the wooded path!

Filton Community Garden is a wonderful place for children to explore on any day. There is a bug hotel, a tree which has recently been sculptured with an owl at the top and hedgehog at the bottom, plus a fairy door with a surprise inside!

In the trees there are also a variety of wooden birds and insects to spot. The garden is educational with all trees and shrubs named and giving information regarding conservation. There are also lots of beautiful flowers to admire.

At the Summer Fête the local youth club, Face will be offering children’s activities and there will also be a cake stall, plant sales, raffle and a few other stalls.

Refreshments will be on offer, including teas and coffees arranged by the local karate group, who might also be putting on a Karate display.

Filton Community Garden is open at all times as well as this Sunday and is free to enjoy.
