On Friday 21st July there will be a business focused networking event in a child-friendly environment at Windmill Hill City Farm with the brilliant Freelance Mum.

The Freelance Mum at the Farm networking session is hosted by Faye Dicker, aka Freelance Mum, and will take place from 10am – 12 noon.

Broadcaster and founder of Freelance Mum, Faye Dicker will be giving an introduction to podcasting for business. From the nuts and bolts to getting started, to getting the most out of an interview, with over 20 years in the media industry, Faye will be able to help you become an expert at podcasting!

The event will also give you the chance to meet other like-minded parents and develop your business, while your children are kept happily entertained with some great activities!

Here’s a guide to how the networking session will work:

10am – Welcome
Introductions, chats, and a fun ice breaker.

10:30am- The Netwalk
The opportunity to meet other mums and dads in business whilst you and your children go for a walk around the farm.

11am – Tea, Coffee and Treats
Time for some refreshments including fresh coffee and delicious cake.

11:15am – Faye will speak about podcasting for business
Be informed and inspired by Faye while your children are entertained with craft activities.

11:35am – Five Minutes With…
A chance for one of our freelance mums to share their business with you.

11:40am – The Business Exchange
A chance to tell people about your business in just 60 seconds.

11:45 – Free networking
Unstructured networking, giving you the chance to meet even more parents and useful contacts.

While you’re at the networking sessions you will also have the chance to  find out more about your business being added to the Freelance Mum Membership and Directory, too.
