Summer is officially here and it can be hard to find things that will keep the kid’s entertained all summer long.

That’s why this summer The Old Market Assembly has a week-long family festival where each morning you can expect something a little bit special for and your family.

Old Market Assembly’s first Summertime Family Festival will be held from Monday 21st August – Saturday 26th August 2017. It’ll be a week where your little ones can be an astronaut, an adventurer and a scientist all under one roof!

On Monday and Tuesday the Lo Fi Funky Space quest will come crashing into the Wardrobe Theatre space.

Join Tom (Babyhead) and Cheeba (DJ Cheeba) as they return to earth in search of a squadron of space cadets to help them overcome the mysterious Flatscreenzombierobot virus that has bewitched the Grownups of Planet Earth.

The spell can only be lifted by a show full of the funky power of hip hop, childhood imagination and cheap special FX, luckily this show has it all!

Later in the week the party planning extraordinaire’s, Sharky and George, will be helping the kid’s create masterpieces to take home with them and producing some really active team games that will get them ready for an adventure all around the Old Market Assembly in a very special treasure hunt.

Sublime Science will be turning the Assembly into a laboratory on Thursday for a morning of extraordinary experiments. The Dragons Den winning party providers will investigating bubbles, smoke and flying things all in the name of science! All experiments are guaranteed one outcome: a big load of fun for your whole family.

Then Sharky and George will be back at the end of the week helping us to celebrate the weekend in style with one big kid’s party and turning up the volume for some classic fun & games that will really get you in the mood to celebrate.

All events are £8 each and tickets are available from Bristol Ticket Shop, spaces are limited so book to avoid disappointment.
