To celebrate its opening, brand new Bristol pizzeria, Franco Manca, will be giving away free pizzas tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday!

Located at 20 Clare Street in the centre of Bristol and seating 80 people, Franco Manca is steeped in Italian heritage and fanatical about making Neapolitan pizza the traditional way.

The pizzeria opened on Saturday 11th November and features the menu of seven core pizzas that see people flock to Franco Manca pizzerias across the UK.

Joining the usual menu will be a selection of delicious sharing platters, daily changing specials and a selection of post pizza delights including home-made tiramisu.

Made from slow-rising sourdough, Franco Manca’s innovative menu sees new flavours meet traditional ingredients, resulting in modern dishes with ultimate Neapolitan flair.

Starting at only £4.95, customers will be able to order from seven regular pizza options, including fan-favourite “the no. 4” (£7.35) which features Gloucester old spot ham, wild mushrooms and a mix of mozzarella and buffalo ricotta.

Giuseppe Mascoli, founder explains: “When my co-founder and I first started Franco Manca, we visited a small farm in Somerset with Albino Scalzitti (a small artisan cheese maker from Molise) to start our mozzarella production using celebrated West Country milk. We are still using the same recipe today.

“We were the first sourdough pizza in the UK dedicated to championing local produce and translating ancient Neapolitan traditions into the UK. We’re more than happy to be back in this neck of the woods and we can’t wait to celebrate with 500 of our new neighbours.”

Joining the delicious food offering is Franco Manca’s selection of organic and natural wines, as well as their very own No Logo beer, pale ale and cider, specially brewed exclusively for the UK pizzerias.

Limited to one per person, free pizzas will be handed out on a first-come-first-served basis for those dining in the new pizzeria tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday.
