Christmas Holiday Club Sessions with The Outdoors Project at The Old Library, Eastville

This December the brilliant Outdoors Project will be running three special Christmas holiday club sessions at The Old Library on Muller Road.

Ideal for kids aged 5 – 12 years of age with bundles of energy, the three one-off, all-weather holiday club sessions take place on Monday 18th, Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th December from 10am – 3pm.

The three sessions will take advantage of the amazing green space surrounding The Old Library and will keep kids thoroughly entertained!

The sessions will be run by qualified outdoor pursuits instructors who are DBS and First Aid checked and children will need to bring a packed lunch, suitable outdoor footwear and coat/waterproofs. Each session costs £28 per day.

Monday 18th December:

Circus Fun

This one-off holiday club session gives 5 – 12 year olds the chance to run away to the Circus for the day and learn some new skills – Acrobatics, Poi, Slackline, Diablo, Spinning Plates, Stilt Walking, Hula Hoops, Juggling Balls and adventure games!

 

Tuesday 19th December:

Christmas Crafts

This one-off holiday club session gives 5 – 12 year olds the chance to enjoy a Christmas Craft Bonanza. Come and make some natural decorations for your Christmas tree, enjoy an Advent calendar treasure hunt (with chocolate), design and make your own snowflakes, reindeer, Santas etc. Indoor/Outdoor Day.

WEDNESDAY 20th DECEMBER

Winter Survival Skills

This one-off holiday club session gives 5 – 12 year olds the chance to learn some Winter Survival Skills.

Learn how to build a fire pit, firelighting with natural tinder, shelter building, whittling tent pegs, toasting marshmallows and making mint tea, plus adventure games on Purdown!
