‘Christmas Story Box’ with The Ark Bus: Free Christmas Holiday Fun

Over the Christmas holidays The Ark Bus are holding a very special festive event for children called ‘The Christmas Story Box’.

The event will include a range of festive activities every day from Monday 18th – Saturday 23rd December 12 – 5pm, and what’s more, all activities are completely free.

Taking place at No. 5 The Arcade in Broadmead, the event will introduce children to the wonder of the first Christmas.

Children can create gifts or decorations such as angels in the Make and Do room and there will also be hourly sessions when they can make a Christmas gift for a family member or friend.

Children will also enjoy delving into the Christmas dressing-up box or listening to traditional Christmas tales every hour in the Storytelling room such as Mog’s Christmas, The Little Christmas Tree and The Jolly Christmas Postman.

And while the kids are being entertained, their parents and carers can enjoy getting creative by sharing their stories or memories in the pop-up shop’s seasonal ‘reflection box’.

Children will all be given a goodie bag to protect their crafty creations, plus a festive chocolate and a picture Christmas story book.

And, on 23rd December, there will be a special photo booth so parents and carers can take a photo of their child in Nativity costume.

Then little ones can then take part in a special retelling of The Nativity at 2pm in the New Room in a 30-minute service especially for children and families.

The Christmas Story Box is sure to be a wonderful festive event for kids.
