On Friday 26th January there will be a Freelance Mum at the Farm family networking event at Windmill Hill City Farm.
The event is for parents in business, with children welcome too! Parents will have the chance to learn some business tips and tricks to help them grow their business while children are be kept happily entertained with fantastic craft activities and toys.
The guest speaker of the Freelance Mum at the Farm event will be Angie Parker who weaves her rugs and contemporary designs around a bonkers world, from her Glimmakra floor loom in Bristol.
An award-winning weaver of rugs and textiles, Angie will tell her story of launching a creative business around motherhood – with the pearls and pitfalls along the way.
The networking event will also include lots of networking activities, a netwalk around the farm, plus fresh coffee and delicious cakes!
Freelance Mum networking events are the brainchild of Faye Dicker, a Bristol mum. A freelance mum herself, Faye knows only too well the challenges of balancing running a successful business and being a mum to young children.
Faye organises Freelance Mum family networking events held twice a month: on the second Tuesday of the month at St Pauls Church in Southville and on the fourth Friday of the month at Windmill Hill City Farm.
The Freelance Mum at the Farm event will take place on Friday 26th February from 10am – 12 noon at Windmill Hill City Farm, Philip Street, Bedminster, BS3 4EA.
Tickets are £12 per adult (children go free). This month Freelance Mum members can bring a friend for FREE!
