Summer Holiday Clubs & Activity Courses for Children & Teens at Clifton College

This Summer Clifton College will be offering some exciting Holiday Club and Activity Courses for children and teens aged 3 – 16.

The holiday clubs and activity courses include a wide range of fun activities to suits all ages and interests and will take place from Friday 6th July to Wednesday 5th September.

Winners of the 2017 Raring 2 Go! award for “Bristol’s Favourite Holiday Club”, all of the activity courses and holiday clubs at Clifton College are led by professional tutors and coaches.

The Holiday Clubs take place at Clifton, and the Outdoor Activities, Netball and Tennis courses take place at Clifton College Sports Ground in Abbots Leigh.

Children from across Bristol and beyond are welcome regardless of where they go to school.

Holiday Clubs

The Holiday Club sessions include three groups: Minis (3-4 years), Juniors (5-7 years) and Kids’ Club (8-13 years).

The daily programmes consist of a mix of indoor and outdoor play opportunities, structured organised games and activities as well as free play and optional experiences utilising one of the best environments in Bristol.

All holiday clubs take place from 10am – 4pm. However, Clifton College offers an early service (8 – 10am) and a late service (4 – 6pm) for all age groups.

Minis Holiday Club:
Minis Holiday Club is held at Clifton College Nursery and is for 3–4 year old children plus 2 year olds who attend the nursery during term-time. Minis Holiday Club offers an interesting and creative environment with lots of activities ideal for young children with particular emphasis is paid to personal development, interaction with others and lots of fun! Minis must bring a packed lunch each day.
£44 per day.

Juniors Holiday Club:
Juniors Holiday Club activities are especially for 5–7 year old and each daily programme includes lots of fun activities, with swimming an important part of each day. The Juniors Holiday Club gives children a chance to develop new skills and pursue new interests. Juniors must bring a packed lunch each day.
£44 per day.

Kids’ Club:
Kids’ Club offers a great range of activities for 8–13s including a free time swimming session which is an important part of each day’s activities. There are three other main daily activity sessions which are designed with varying interest and ability groups in mind and children can choose from a number of themed afternoon activities that take place both indoor and outdoor around Clifton College’s Sports Centre. Lunch in the dining hall is included although children can bring their own packed lunch if required.
£44 per day.

Activity Courses

Activity Courses offer a wide range of specific and specialised activities, giving children and teenagers the opportunity to either enjoy a regular favourite activity or try something new.

Each of the Activity Courses will have either an Adventure, Creative or Sport theme, plus there are Junior Courses for children aged 5 – 7.

Most of the activity courses are one-day courses though some of the courses for 5 – 7 year olds are half-day.

There are also one day activity courses for 12 – 16 year olds which offer a mature experience for young people who are able to meet and mix with others who share similar interests.
