Looking for something egg-citing to do as a family this Easter holiday? Then head down to Wapping Wharf, Bristol’s harbourside quarter, and take part in a free Easter Trail!
Go eggs-ploring with the kids this Easter school holidays from 8th – 24th April, when the Easter Trail will run from 11am – 6pm each day, excluding Easter Sunday. The perfect way to entertain kids and adults alike!
Families will be able to collect activity sheets from The Bristol Cheesemonger (or Better Food on Mondays), and hunt for brightly-decorated cut-out eggs in the windows of Wapping Wharf’s eclectic mix of independent businesses both along Gaol Ferry Steps and within Cargo.
Be sure to pay close attention to the letters on the eggs to crack the code and spell out an Easter-themed sentence. After completing the trail, families should head back to The Bristol Cheesemonger (or Better Food on Mondays) to collect a little reward for their hard work.

Rosie Morgan, owner of the Bristol Cheesemonger, who is organising the trail, explains:
“We’re looking forward to welcoming families to Wapping Wharf this Easter and seeing who will walk away with an Easter themed prize when they complete the trail!”
There’s plenty to keep grown-ups entertained at Wapping Wharf too – when you’ve completed the trail or if you need a pitstop half way through – why not treat yourself to lunch out at one of the tasty eateries, browse the independent shops on offer, or just enjoy the view of the harbourside?
It’s going to be an egg-cellent day out for all the family!
