FREE ENTRY
Bristol International Balloon Fiesta 2019 begins this week: 4 days of free family fun with 130 colourful hot air balloons taking off at dawn and dusk, lighting up the sky at night with evening balloon glows!
There will also be fairground rides, Aardman model-making workshops, live entertainment, stalls and fireworks!

Below are dates and times for each day of the Balloon Fiesta 2019 so you can plan your visit.
- 12 noon – Fiesta opens: Balloon Tethering – Launch Field
- 6pm – Special Shape and Ride Balloons Launch
- 9pm – Night Glow and Firework Finale
- 10.30pm – Fiesta closes
FRIDAY 9th AUGUST
- 6am – Fiesta opens and Mass Hot Air Balloon Lift
- 8am – model Hot Air Balloon Competitions
- 12 noon – Hot Air Balloon Tethering
- 6pm – Mass Hot Air Balloon Lift
- 8.30pm – Fiesta closes
SATURDAY 10th AUGUST
- 6am – Fiesta opens and Mass Hot Air Balloon Lift
- 12 noon – Arena Entertainment
- 6pm – Mass Hot Air Balloon Lift
- 9pm – Night Glow and Firework Finale
- 10.30pm – Fiesta closes
SUNDAY 11th AUGUST
- 6am – Fiesta opens and Mass Hot Air Balloon Lift
- 12 noon – 5pm – Arena Entertainment
- 6pm – Mass Ascent (subject to wind conditions)
- 8pm – Fiesta closes

PARKING
Entry to the Bristol Balloon Fiesta is free but to guarantee parking you must book a parking space in advance. Please note that caravans and motor homes are not allowed.
