This evening there will be another ‘Clap For Our Carers‘ event to show the nation’s gratitude to NHS staff working tirelessly during the Coronavirus crisis.

The national round of applause will see people across the country applaud NHS workers, showing appreciation for doctors, nurses, GPs and every other NHS worker for their ongoing hard work and fight against the virus.

And, with schools closed and the bank holiday weekend approaching, organisers of the event want tonight’s applause to be louder than ever, with little clappers especially welcome!

The national round of applause will take place tonight, Thursday 9th April at 8pm.  People joining in should applaud from their front doors, gardens, balconies and windows, keeping a safe distance from other people.
