The Downend & Staple Hill Big Neighbourhood Pumpkin Trail!

Like lots of things in 2020, Halloween might look a little bit different to previous years. But it doesn’t mean that we can’t still have lots of spooky fun!

This October, a few members of the BS16 community have got together to organise a Downend & Staple Hill Big Pumpkin Trail and they would like to get as many homes as possible in Downend and Staple Hill to join in!

Much like the rainbows that we created in lockdown, all you need to do is stick a pumpkin in your window or outside your home: it can be real, plastic, painted- whatever you like! Together a giant pumpkin trail can be created in the local area for children and families to go and spot over the Halloween weekend.

You could also pop a treat into your child’s buckets as they spot the pumpkins or at the end of the trail to add to their fun!

If you would like to become part of this event, you can do so by joining the Downend & Staple Hill Big Pumpkin Trail Facebook group.

Please share with your friends, family and neighbours to make this Halloween a memorable one!
