The Food Assembly: A Fun Part-time Activity for Foodie Mums

Food Assembly 2

If you haven’t already heard of The Food Assembly, it won’t be long before you do.

The Food Assembly is a revolutionary new platform which serves two great purposes. Firstly, it unites communities and secondly it enables people to buy fresh food directly from local farmers ad food-makers.

But, the benefits of the Food Assembly don’t stop there. Everyone involved gets a better deal; you get locally sourced, fresh produce, local farmers and food makers get a fairer price for their work and communities get to know one another.

Furthermore, the Food Assembly also gives members of a community the chance to not only get involved but to earn an income at the same time.

Absolutely anyone can set up a Food Assembly if they wish. This would be ideal for parents with some spare time and who are also looking to get involved with something with a great purpose, while earning between £200 – £400 per month.

Children whose parents have set up Food Assemblies will also benefit as they will have the chance to meet other children in their area and they can also learn more about food, from how food is grown, made and produced, meeting local food-makers and farmers and visiting farms.

The only prerequisites to getting involved are a passion for meeting people and a love of food!

Hosting a Food Assembly requires between 10 – 12 hours per week which will include making visits to local farms and organising the weekly market and, of course, connecting with your local community.

If you would like to set up a Food Assembly, all you need to do is register here.

It’s as simple as that.
