This morning my daughter and I took advantage of the lovely Autumn sunshine to take a walk on Durdham Downs to see A Bristol Murmuration.
A Bristol Murmuration is a collection of 1000 ceramic starlings created by children and adults of all ages in Henleaze, Stoke Bishop and Westbury-on-Trym so as to highlight the fall in starling numbers.
The installation was originally going to end today but due to popularity, the starlings will now be there for two more days until Tuesday 27th October.
It is such a great idea and the starlings prove a great sight in all their colours; some are simple in design and some more detailed. we had fun wondering around looking at them.
If you would like to see A Bristol Murmuration, here is the official poster with a map of how to find it. Enjoy!
