There are some fun things to do in Bristol for families this weekend. There’s a fantastic Christmas Fair at Windmill Hill City Farm where kids can visit Santa in his Grotto, a Christmas concert in Kingswood, a Candlelight in the Woods session with Stonebury Learning Forest School and much more!

Messy Church: Horfield Methodist Church
A final, Christmas-themed, Messy Church of the year at Horfield Methodist Church. Children and families will learn about what happened on the first Christmas, and preparing to celebrate Jesus’ birthday by making some amazing things.
There will be making decorations and boxes, finding out what the Christingle is and cooking up some donkey dung! That will be followed by a short period of worship, to think about that very first Christmas, then a yummy Christmas lunch of roast turkey and all the trimmings!

Cookery Club: Meals for Squeals Cookery School
Monthly cookery club for ages 8-14. Make a different recipe every month (no need to sign up for a term, just book the dates/recipes you’d like to come to).
The class takes place at Meals for Squeals cookery school in Coalpit Heath, Bristol. Award-winning cookery school, DBS (CRB) checked, food hygiene certification, accredited by Kallikids.
