This week my children and I discovered a brilliant play park in Stoke Bishop! We ventured there on the recommendation of another mum and we were glad we did.

Situated on the Shirehampton Road (entry via the Stoke Lodge Centre, BS9 1BN) this play park is big and has varied play equipment that is great for children of my son’s age (7) as well as toddlers and pre-schoolers, too.

There is lots of interesting play equipment, with not only the standard swings and slides, but with a long zip wire, climbing frames for different ages and stages, bucket and rope swings, a little trampoline, turfed ramps to walk along and more.

As you can see from the pictures, this play park also has lots of grass to play on and, because it is a large play area, all the play equipment is nicely spaced out. It is also situated in a beautiful part of Bristol, surrounded by green space and billowing trees.

This play park is definitely worth taking your kids to!
