Should you be in need of ideas and inspiration of things to do with your kids this half-term in Bristol, this list of activities from Monday to Friday should be useful!
There are lots of kid-friendly activities and events this half-term including a Shaun the Sheep Vegetable Orchestra, a Teddy Bears’ Picnic, an outdoor screening of Bee Movie in Millenium Square, holiday club sessions with The Outdoors Project (think tribal survival day, Nerf gun battles and more!), family fun days at M Shed and Bristol Museum, pizza making at Windmill Hill City Farm and LEGOMANIA – an event especially for LEGO-loving kids in Bristol!

Nerfageddon – “All things Nerf including new blasters” with The Outdoors Project: St Andrew’s Park
High-energy holiday club session for children aged 5 – 12. A full-on Nerf Day with Hunger Games, Zombie Apocalypse, Search and Destroy, Base Invasion, Capture the Flag and Team Challenges.
Mini Ninja Warriors Assault Course – Back by popular demand, this timed and team challenge assault course returns with new obstacles: Balance beams, cargo nets, rope swings and ninjas!

The Magic Doors at Tobacco Factory Theatres
A theatre treat for children and families telling the story of three friends who are uncertain about an unusual boy they see in their street and so they decide to play indoors. Their games take them into some surprising worlds, sometimes funny and sometimes scary, as they travel under water, journey down creepy corridors and battle hurricanes.
Eventually they discover that friendship is the biggest secret of them all: even the strange boy in the street can be their friend.
The Magic Doors will be presented with Bombastic, a theatre company specialising in creating humorous, fantastical theatrical productions for young people combining dance and animation.

Stream walk through tunnels and down waterfalls. Scrambling, Rope Swing, Cave Hunting and pond dipping. This is a big day, for the most intrepid! Bring a change of clothes and boots/shoes that can get wet.

LEGOMANIA! Bristol: Brislington
Come and have a cup of tea and a piece of cake while the children build and create to their hearts content!
There will be stacks of LEGO for creative building and rebuilding and lots of craft activities for children, also.
This event is mainly aimed at children of primary school age, but slightly older and younger (3+) children are welcome, too. Smaller siblings are also welcome, but as LEGO is not suitable for under-3’s due to the choking risk, little ones will need close supervision.
No need to pay for adults or smaller children who are accompanying the children taking part.

Today is a Tribal Survival day. Tribes will need to think about Survival, Fire, Shelter, Food and Water, Protection and other tribal encounters. Make weapons, create flags, face painting and general Tribal shenanigans. Big swing, air toys plus circus fun too!
