A Bristol mum is searching for a precious memory blanket belonging to her little boy.
Lisa Richardson has been searching for her 7-year-old son’s memory blanket since realising that the blanket had been mistakenly donated to Clic Sargent charity shop in Downend during a house move in May earlier this year.
Lisa explains:
“The memory blanket is made up of Redd’s baby clothes including his christening outfit and the outfit that he came of of the hospital in so it very special to us.”
It was in the last few weeks of unpacking boxes following her house move that Lisa discovered that she couldn’t find the memory blanket.
She asked at her previous house and the removal company that she had used in the house move and then realised that the blanket had been mistakenly donated to Clic Sargent in Downend.
Devastated, Lisa immediately phoned Clic Sergeant up and although staff remembered the blanket due to it being so unique, unfortunately the blanket had already been sold.
Since realising that the blanket was gone, Lisa has put posters up around Downend, has had hundreds of shares on Facebook and has even appeared in the Bristol Post appealing for the blanket but has no success.
The blanket is distinctive and has lots of patchwork quilting on the front with Dr Suess backing.
Lisa is desperate to find the memory blanket. Can you help her find it?
