This Saturday at the beautiful Blaise Castle Estate there will be a Goram Fair: a special free event for children and families celebrating the legend of Bristol’s giant Goram!

There will be stalls, activities and rides on a vintage fun fair, a giant adventure story trail, puppet show, horse rides, falconry, walkabout entertainment from a magician and balloon modeller and a circus show!

Children and families can learn how Bristol’s landscape was changed by two giants in a Giant Outdoor Adventure at 11am and 2pm and also find out why there are giant footprints, a huge bath and a stone chair carved into the cliffs of Blaise Castle Estate.

Children and families can explore the world of giants and become giants themselves, creating a magical miniature city. You can play with giant games, listen to Bristol giant stories and find out how the giants Goram and Ghyston are said to have shaped Blaise Estate.

The Goram Fair is Saturday 30th July, 10am – 6pm so drop-in at any time to enjoy any of the above activities. You can find Blaise Castle Estate on Henbury Road, Henbury BS10 7QS.
