This Sunday on Bristol’s harbourside kids can take part in creating and building an expanding speaker sound system…made entirely out of cardboard!
Children of all ages and their families are welcome to take part in this Build a Cardboard Speaker Sound System event and have fun drawing, printing and creating sound speakers to form a giant speaker stack.
At the end of the session there will be a participatory protest performance when the speakers come alive with loud music from Charismatic Megafauna where children can join them to ‘smash the system’!
This is a free event (donations welcome) which has been organised by Arnolfini. It will take place from 11am – 3pm on Sunday 31st July on the harbourside outside Arnolfini – children and families can drop-in any time.
I am posting ideas of things to do with kids on the Bristol Mum Facebook Page every day of the Summer holidays – do join me there!
